Muslim-friendly restaurants can be defined as restaurants that do not have halal certification but projects as restaurants that follow the Islamic Dietary Laws. In relation to this, young Malaysians have their own unique tastes and preferences for cuisines, which reflect their lifestyle and self-image when they intend to make their eating choices. Korean cuisine for example, has become one of the most preferred foods in this country. Within this context, a proper guideline on the attributes of Muslim friendly Korean restaurants is needed to safeguard the Korean food advocates among the Muslim followers.
