When writing with a pencil, pupils who write with their left hand might experience smudging. Because left-handed writers drag their fingers over the writing, the graphite smudges on their hands. To avoid this, a reuse mask as a protective sheet is introduced for left-handed persons, particularly Malaysian elementary school pupils, to prevent smudging and keep clean hands when writing with a pencil. This simple reusable mask facilitates tidy and smudge-free work. Hence, this also can fulfil Sustainable Development Goal 12 - Responsible consumption and production: Substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
