ST197: Automatic Contactless Hand Sanitizer Dispenser

Ts. Sufian Bin Mohamad UiTM Cawangan Johor Kampus Pasir Gudang

Even though the Covid epidemic has passed, there are several methods for limiting or preventing Covid or other deseases in future. Washing hands after being outside is a pretty simple habit . So keeping clean and sanitised hands at all times will help to lower the chance of contracting the disease. Although automated hand sanitizers are readily available in public areas, they are frequently empty or running short on liquid sanitizer. The primary goal of this project is to learn more about the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things is a collection of physical objects that may communicate with other devices and systems over the internet by being fitted with sensors, software, and other technologies (IoT). These physical objects might be anything from everyday household items to industrial equipment. According to studies, there are currently over 7 billion connected IoT devices. It is projected to reach 10 billion by the end of 2020, and 22 billion by 2025. IoT is therefore included to this automatic hand sanitizer project in order to determine whether it is compatible with everyday appliances. The ESP8266 wifi module, a buzzer, and an LCD are used to evaluate this project's outputs. In the meanwhile, water level sensors and ultrasonic sensors are employed as inputs.
