Customers frequently expressed dissatisfaction with misalignment and air bubbles arising from manually applied screen protectors. Additionally, the time required for manual application services was a common concern. Service providers often extended the application process by addressing issues like realigning screen protectors and removing air bubbles for each customer, causing frustration, particularly for busy customers. In response, we introduced TemperGuard, a vending machine offering custom screen protectors in three variants, ensuring precise and consistent application. According to the survey, tempered glass, matte glass, and privacy glass were the most commonly used screen protectors among customers. The TemperGuard design incorporates a touchscreen interface for personalized transactions, various payment options, a cutting machine to tailor screen protectors based on proximity sensor scans of different device screens, and a two-armed machine for fast, consistent, and precise application. These features are geared towards delivering high-quality services and enhancing the overall customer experience. The idea of using vending machine is a chance to change how people protect their devices. It would give users a reliable, mistake-free, and easy way to put on screen protectors, making devices look and work better.
