In mathematics, the graph of a function f is the set of all points in the plane of the form (x, f(x)).We could also define the graph of f to be the graph of the equation y = f(x). Graphing functions is the process of drawing the graph of the corresponding function. There are eight different types of functions that are commonly used, therefore thirteen different types of graphs of functions can be drawn.Graphing basic functions like linear, quadratic, cubic, etc is pretty simple, graphing functions that are complex like rational, logarithmic, etc, needs some skill and some mathematical concepts to understand. Students always face problems to identify the types of graphs and feel bored during teaching and learning process. Therefore, an innovation needs to be designed to help students overcome the problems. A set of Genius GF cards (Genius Graph Function cards) is designed based on Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences to help students remember graph patterns more easily. Genius GF cards can also be used as a game tool in learning mathematics. Students will enjoy identifying different types of function graphs. The use of the body parts to solve problems or to make things , an understanding of a concept. Students use their two hands to show the different pattern of graphs according to the diagram that drawn on each card. Students enjoy to learn the graph of a function by using Genius GF cards. The cost of construction for Genius GF cards is low. We can use cardboard from shoe box, recycled papers and tissue box. The size of the cards are small and light. The cards are easily to bring and keep.
