In the rapidly changing job market, employability assessment tools have become more important in ensuring that candidate skills are in line with employer expectations. In the past, these evaluations have extensively relied on questionnaires to evaluate employability traits and competencies. Nevertheless, as digital technology progresses, there is an increasing demand to transition to more dynamic and interactive platforms. This study presents a novel employability application developed for employees to assess their skills prior to engaging in interview sessions. The suggested application enables candidates to examine and evaluate their skills and readiness, offering a self-appraisal viewpoint that is compared to employer assessments throughout the interview procedure. This dual-perspective approach not only provides a comprehensive understanding of the candidate's employability but also serves to resolve the discrepancy between self-perception and employer expectations. The app facilitates a more precise, real-time analysis of employability factors by digitising the assessment process, thereby promoting a more efficient and informed hiring process. The transition from traditional questionnaires to app-based evaluations solves the shortcomings of previous techniques, providing a more comprehensive knowledge of employability in the modern context. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating the effectiveness of digital tools in enhancing employability assessments and fostering better alignment between job seekers and employers. By introducing this application, it enables the recruiting process become more transparent and easier for employers to measure the candidates’ employability.
