Anaerobic digestion is an environmentally friendly means of capitalizing on the rich nutrient content of biomass waste for biogas energy and biofertilizer generation. The proposed method has been proven feasible via laboratory experimentation hence the development of the Integrated Anaerobic Digester (IAD) unit as a large-scale treatment facility. IAD is a 3-in-1 modular unit which is directly scalable via serial connections with treatment, storage and utilization features incorporated in a single invention. Essentially, the fruition of this invention is to recirculate organic waste produced by industries in Malaysia as biogas energy for value added propositions such as electricity generation.
