Watering plants is one of the activities or hobbies for individuals who have small garden at home, even compulsory for farmers to water and ensure that their plants get a sufficient supply of water. An efficient and technological watering system can reduce the risk of plants wilting and dying due to lack of water supply, especially during the dry season or during the El Nino phenomenon. Autonomous plant watering systems are designed to simplify gardening tasks. There are several types of automatic watering systems available that use sprinkler systems, tubes, nozzles and other components. But for this project, a system has been modified using a microprocessor that can monitor dryness and pump water when the level of soil dryness is detected by a soil moisture detection device. It is set to detect soil moisture content and distribute water as needed. This method is usually used to take care of plants in the garden, both small and large. This prototype aims to reduce the issue of absenteeism and forgetfulness during the plant care process.
