This paper discusses the analysis of the breakdown voltage of mineral oil (MO), palm oil (PO), rice bran oil (RBO), and a combination of PO and RBO. The AC breakdown voltage was tested following the IEC60516 standard using VDE electrodes set at a gap of 2.55mm. An analysis was conducted on the breakdown voltage data to determine the most efficient and environmentally friendly oil for transformers. The results indicate that RBO better than MO and PO.
