MUHD SYAFRI BIN SAHIMI Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah

EZBreazy AC (Hybrid portable Air-conditioning) is an innovative product focused on creating a novel, eco-friendly, and sustainable hybrid portable air conditioning system. In today's world, many cars are being discarded, contributing to the growing problem of waste and environmental pollution. Furthermore, the world is experiencing a concerning trend of rising temperatures, with 2020 tying with 2016 as the hottest year on record, according to NASA and NOAA data. This project’s objectives are firstly, to create a portable air conditioning system that is fully functional and easy to operate, with a comprehensive approach to ensure simplicity in both design and functionality. Secondly, to develop a product using Air-conditioning components from discarded or non-functional cars. Our research scope involves testing the product in various settings such as residential areas, commercial spaces, and event spaces, and gathering data on consumer satisfaction, cooling efficiency, and user-friendliness. The findings were analyzed in percentages showing that 80 % of respondents stated that this product is convenient for various parties such as householders, office workers, and workshops. While 100 % of the respondents also agreed that the electronic can reuse the discarded car AC components. As a result of the test, data conducted around Shah Alam and Batu Caves, the Air-conditioning can cool 4 out of 5 areas at any given time at 19 degrees Celsius on average. In summary, the respondent’s feedback on EZBreazy AC was positive and encouraging as all building consumers needed innovations to reduce the waste of discarded cars and also able to provide a comfortable environment in the building.
