This project addresses the importance of customer comfort in restaurants, where seating plays a key role in creating a positive dining experience. Standard fixed-height chairs often do not accommodate guests of varying heights, including children, the elderly, and individuals with mobility issues, leading to discomfort.

To identify this issue, observations were conducted over three weeks at 3 venue located in Labuan, focusing on customer behavior. Additionally, interviews were held with three students from Labuan Matriculation College from 3 different courses.

Based on the findings, an adjustable chair prototype was developed using Sharp3D. The prototype design process took around one week and three days. The chair includes a detachable baby’s table for easy switching between a feeding setup and regular use, with a sturdy locking system. Adjustable legs allow users to modify the chair height, ensuring ergonomic support and customizable comfort.

The team hopes this product will enhance user comfort and dining experience, especially benefiting restaurant owners in providing a more inclusive and adaptable seating solution for their customers.
