Virtual Booth

As urban campuses face mounting transportation challenges, from congestion and carbon emissions to cost inefficiencies—there is a growing demand for digital solutions that promote smart mobility. This paper introduces UniWheels, a student-centric, app-based carpooling platform tailored for Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) students. Designed with a focus on safety, sustainability, and schedule synchronization, UniWheels leverages real-time integration with class timetables, exclusive student verification, and gamified eco-reward systems to foster responsible travel behavior. Results from user testing suggest that UniWheels not only reduces transportation costs and emissions but also builds stronger social networks within campus communities. This paper proposes UniWheels as a replicable model for future-forward universities aiming to adopt green, tech-enabled mobility solutions.
