Vocabulary is fundamental for acquiring the core competencies in Arabic, especially in undertaking the speaking and writing tasks. A solid vocabulary base facilitates students' ability to construct conveniently diverse and engaging sentences. Nevertheless, many students encounter difficulties in mastering vocabulary effectively due to the reliance on conventional teaching methods in classrooms, insufficient teaching and learning resources, and dreary vocabulary activities. As a result, this leads to a diminished interest in learning and retaining Arabic vocabulary. To address these challenges, MUFRADATI was developed as an innovative solution to help students learn Arabic vocabulary more easily, enjoyably, engagingly, and flexibly. MUFRADATI is an Arabic vocabulary learning application designed for daily use, featuring multimedia and interactive elements to enhance learning experience. One of its advantages is that it includes basic Arabic vocabulary with practical sentence examples used in daily life, combining multimedia elements such as text, graphics, audio, and interactive components. Each vocabulary item and sentence example includes a Malay translation, and each chapter includes two language reinforcement activities. The application’s flexibility allows students to use it on all electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. By using MUFRADATI, students can learn Arabic vocabulary in a more enjoyable and engaging manner, which also aids in better retention. This application is designed not only to be utilised by students at the kindergarten, primary, secondary, and higher education levels, but also for the general public interested in learning Arabic.
