Water is essential for all living beings, yet many communities lack access to clean water. Bagasse (sugarcane residue) is an abundant but underutilized waste, especially in Indonesia. To address these issues, AquaCane was developed as a simple water filtration product to increase clean water supply and provide nutrient-rich water for agriculture. This research involved testing the effectiveness of AquaCane to determine its capability in filtering dirty water. Testing showed AquaCane, which uses gravel, burned coconut shells, cotton, and bagasse, is effective in filtering dirty water. This was confirmed by pH tests and physical inspections of water before and after filtration.
