Abstract:
With the increasing challenge of electronic and household waste, proper segregation is essential for effective waste management. This project introduces a Smart Trash Segregator powered by the ESP32 microcontroller, designed to automatically sort waste into categories such as plastic, metal, and organic using sensors and smart logic.
This low-cost and efficient system reduces the need for manual sorting, encourages recycling, and supports clean environmental practices. The ESP32 also provides the flexibility for future upgrades such as Wi-Fi-enabled monitoring, cloud data logging, or mobile app integration.
This project is ideal for smart city applications and educational awareness, offering a practical solution to digital waste management through automation and innovation.
