AIDA FARZANA BINTI NOR SAFFUAN POLITEKNIK SULTAN SALAHUDDIN ABDUL AZIZ SHAH

BRAILLIO is a bilingual (Malay and English) assistive learning system designed to support Braille learning and early reading development among visually impaired children. The system combines tactile Braille flashcards with interactive audio feedback to create a more engaging and accessible learning experience. Using RFID technology, each flashcard is detected and linked to corresponding pronunciation audio in either Bahasa Malaysia or English. The system is developed using an Arduino Uno, RC522 RFID reader, and DFPlayer Mini audio module to provide accurate and responsive feedback through sound interaction. Functional testing showed reliable RFID detection, clear audio playback, and stable system performance. BRAILLIO demonstrates the potential of embedded assistive technology in promoting inclusive and independent learning for visually impaired learners.
