BYOD is an act of bringing one’s own devices into the organizational technological settings. BYOD is one of the measures undertaken by organizations to reduce the impact of high technological maintenance and upgrading. However, currently, there is a lack of tools to measure the level of BYOD readiness among the individual employees. This insufficiency led to poor decision making and missed opportunity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is twofold; first, to determine the level of BYOD adoption among individuals. Second, to predict their BYOD adoption intention based on both mathematical model and descriptive model. In doing so, a model based on several theories was developed and tested using the structural equation modelling (SEM) technique. The study employed a survey research methodology with an online questionnaire as the research instrument. The questionnaire was developed based on the instruments used by previous researchers. Descriptive analysis and inferential analysis which include SEM were executed using IBM SPSS and SmartPLS 4.0 statistical software. Among the special features of the application are (1) BYOD dashboard to monitor results based on certain predictors (2) individual BYOD adoption predictor, (3) B-RAT BYOD Assessment Index, and (4) BYOD mapping. The application can be accessed through Google Play or via URL (https://b-rat.myappx.my). The application can be commercialized to government and private institutions. The research also supported by research fundings and have been published in several Scopus, MyCite, and MyJurnal.
