Based on Science Direct, phone addiction during study significantly impairs academic performance by causing distractions, reducing concentration, and hindering information retention. Surely it will cause academic burnout, anxiety, and sleep deprivation, which decreases overall learning efficiency. Students often experience lower GPAs and increased procrastination. Our aim of the project is to reduce smartphone distractions during study sessions by making this physical intervention box that applied the Pomodoro Method. According to Redd Micheal, the Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that helps people to stay focused and productive throughout the day. This simple system breaks work down into 25-minute intervals separated by short breaks. The technique has become popular among students, professionals, and anyone else looking to improve their time management skills. The Pomodoro Technique is based on the idea that frequent breaks boost mental agility, creativity, and motivation. The timed intervals help people to focus by giving them a specific chunk of time to concentrate. This removes the tendency to procrastinate and makes tasks seem less daunting.
