Approximately 60% of school-aged children experience stained and dull teeth, indicating a growing concern in children's dental health. This study aims to develop an effective, eco-friendly herbal tooth powder for teeth whitening using natural ingredients. The product, named Evergreen Herbal Whitening (E.H.W) Tooth Powder, is formulated with Paddy husk (5g), Belleric (5g), Cloves (5g), Himalayan salt (10g), Myrobalan (2.5g), Dried amla (2.5g), and Activated charcoal (2.5g). These ingredients were selected based on previous scientific research that supports their whitening and antimicrobial properties. The ingredients were sun-dried (except charcoal), ground into a fine powder, and mixed to form a homogeneous blend. After four formulation trials, the final product achieved a safe and effective pH level of 8.15. A solution was prepared at a ratio of 1g powder to 10ml distilled water and measured using a pH meter. The product was tested on five participants. Teeth whitening effects were visually noticeable after the first use, confirmed through before-and-after photographic comparisons. Observations and interviews were conducted to collect feedback. Participants reported visible whitening results and described the product as gentle, pleasant-smelling, and more comfortable than conventional toothpaste. The findings suggest that E.H.W Tooth Powder is a promising, chemical-free alternative for natural teeth whitening. Due to its effectiveness and positive user feedback, the product shows strong potential for commercial development.
