ST925: ECOQUEST : SUSTAINABILITY SMART BOARD GAME

EcoQuest is an automated sustainability board game designed to educate players about critical marine environmental issues in Malaysia through a fun and interactive experience. The game combines remote gameplay with automation and a mobile companion app to enhance gameplay and raise awareness. It specifically targets Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 13 ('Climate Action') and 14 ('Life Below Water') by incorporating game content questions related to these issues within the mobile companion application. This approach aims to educate players about these important issues while they enjoy the game. The automated sustainability board game integrates four main components which are the automated mechanisms, haptic solution and LED effects, mobile companion application, and a database for linking automated board game with the mobile companion application. By combining gameplay with educational content, real-world issues, and facts, EcoQuest stands as a promising tool for educating and inspiring individuals to act towards a sustainable future.
