Biochar is a carbon-rich material made by heating organic waste like wood or crop residues with little oxygen. It's used to improve soil health, boost crop yields, and store carbon, helping reduce greenhouse gases. Many farmers need sustainable ways to restore soil due to over-farming and erosion. Biochar offers a solution, but its fine dust can cause irritation and handling issues. Our group proposes a new form of biochar that's cleaner and safer to use. This user-friendly version would help farmers improve their soil easily while promoting sustainable waste use and supporting a circular economy in agriculture and the environment.
