In this project, we present the design and implementation of an EZ Smart dustbin 1.0 that utilizes an Arduino Uno to control a servo motor, ultrasonic sensor, LED light, Buzzer and LCD. The purpose of the dustbin is to improve waste management by providing a convenient and efficient way to dispose of garbage. The smart dustbin operates by detecting the presence of an object using the ultrasonic sensor. When an object is detected, the servo motor opens the lid of the dustbin, allowing the user to dispose of their waste. Additionally, the dustbin incorporates extra features such as charcoal for odor absorption and pandan leaf maintain a pleasant environment.
