The project "An Innovative Digital Content Kit with QR Code for ELC231 - Expository Essay Writing Platform: Accessible to Diverse Users" addresses the challenge of creating effective digital teaching materials. To improve the effectiveness and accessibility of digital teaching materials, this project introduces a digital content kit designed for the UiTM ELC231 course on a specific topic, Expository Essay Writing. The kit utilizes Padlet and incorporates QR codes to ensure high-quality, creative, and accessible content for diverse users, including those with learning disabilities. A survey was conducted among 56 students, with a majority being female (82.1%), from the Faculties of Business and Management (60.7%) and Information Management (39.3%). Feedback indicated that Padlet was user-friendly, engaging, and beneficial for improving writing skills, leading to overall satisfaction (M = 4.23). The project's impacts include scalability, adaptability to various educational contexts, and a positive effect on learning outcomes with high user engagement. This innovative content kit shows strong potential for commercialization due to its open licensing feature, cross-device compatibility, and universal design, which later ensures accessibility for all learners. It is hoped that this digital content kit can set the standard for and contribute to the literature on digital material development on digital platforms.
