The reliability of our "InSight Care: Indoor Patient Tracking System" chest strap involves careful consideration of materials, manufacturing, lifespan, and upgradability. Using recycled nylon promotes eco-friendliness and reduces production costs, allowing bulk ordering. Sustainable manufacturing minimizes waste and energy use. Designed for comfort and functionality, the chest strap ensures secure attachment and precise data monitoring, with features like adjustable straps and moisture-wicking properties. Despite challenges in integrating pulse sensors with ESP32 and ensuring signal stability, we repurposed the sensors for innovative applications. Our Wi-Fi-based system enhances patient tracking in hospitals, addressing staff shortages and improving patient care through real-time location monitoring.
