Kundasang is a famous tourist destination in Sabah, Malaysia. Its unique history, culture, and scenic beauty make it a popular destination for tourists. However, many tourists encounter difficulties in navigating popular tourist spots due to communication barriers with local residents. In this regard, a significant challenge faced by Sabah's tourism sector is the shortage of tour guides, particularly in the context of the pandemic and the shift towards domestic tourism. One strategy to address this issue is to optional for self-guided tours or selectively hire guides for specific sights or experiences that hold significant value for the traveler. To solve this issue, we developed GoBuddy, an innovative application designed to provide self-guiding tours for tourists especially the solo travelers who want to explore Kundasang, namely, the main place on this application, which is in the northern part of Sabah. The app consists of a user-friendly interface, offering insightful commentary and detailed description all accessible through audio guides on users' mobile devices. Moreover, the app aims to revolutionize the way tourists navigate and explore the destination. This innovative tool is more than simply a simple application; it serves as a portal to a new era of exploration.
