The ALUNA cream hand soap is an innovative project developed in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. This dual-function product serves both as a hand cleanser and a moisturizer. It is created using eco-friendly ingredients, including used cooking oil, aloe vera, potassium hydroxide, essential oils, salt, and hot water. By upcycling used cooking oil from the school dormitory cafeteria, ALUNA aims to reduce environmental pollution and support waste management efforts. Additionally, this innovation helps prevent the spread of diseases caused by improper hand hygiene among students at SMKA Sheikh Abdul Malik. A survey of 100 students showed increasing awareness and acceptance of this product. The project also received safety validation from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA). ALUNA has the potential to be developed into a commercial product, generating income for the school and promoting environmental sustainability through the creative reuse of natural and waste materials.
