The Magic Walking Stick is an innovation project created to help blind and elderly people walk safely for short distances. Many blind and elderly people face difficulties while walking alone because they cannot easily detect obstacles around them. This situation may cause accidents, injuries, or loss of confidence.

The main objective of this project is to improve safety and support independent movement. The Magic Walking Stick uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect nearby obstacles. When an object is detected, a buzzer produces sound and an LED light blinks to warn the user. This helps users avoid danger and move more safely.

This project was developed using the Design Thinking Method, which includes understanding the problem, planning ideas, building a prototype, and testing the product. Simple and affordable materials such as a walking stick, sensor, buzzer, battery, and LED light were used to create the prototype.

The Magic Walking Stick is lightweight, easy to use, portable, and cost-effective. It can help reduce accidents and increase confidence among blind and elderly users. In the future, this project can be improved by adding GPS tracking, voice guidance, and rechargeable batteries.
