The School of Information Science (PPSM) at UiTM Sarawak lacks a centralized platform for accessing crucial information and fostering engagement within and beyond the faculty. Despite utilizing various platforms like websites and social media, the fragmented experience impedes access to comprehensive information for current students, faculty members, potential students, and the public. Additionally, there's a recognized need to promote extracurricular involvement, notably through the INFORMS Society. This fragmentation hampers communication, engagement, and resource access, affecting the overall student experience. Addressing these challenges, the PPSM UiTM Sarawak App is developed to offer a complete view of PPSM and the Diploma of Information Management. The app aims to promote engagement, facilitate information dissemination, and enhance learning experiences. With features covering the faculty's history, program details, faculty members, INFORMS Society, announcements, and contact information, the app streamlines communication and connectivity, fostering a stronger community within PPSM UiTM Sarawak. Furthermore, the app holds significant commercial potential, serving as a valuable tool for prospective students, academic researchers, and industry professionals interested in the faculty and information management thereby enhancing its marketability and scalability.
