APCAMS offers an AI-driven, comprehensive, and quick progressive collapse assessment for multistorey steel buildings. Integrating seamlessly with Building Information Models (BIM), the AI algorithms automate data collection and evaluation, identifying potential collapse triggers and recommending mitigation measures. At its core, the Plastic Hinge Energy Dissipation (PHED) model utilised an extensive design database, updated with the latest industry and research data. This predictive model forecasts relevant design parameters, ensuring accurate and reliable assessments. The PHED model novel approach to energy dissipation prediction enhances the structural resilience and safety of steel buildings, representing a good advancement in the construction industry.
