The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of extreme dry and hot weather conditions in eight locations in the north of Peninsula Malaysia including Perlis. This phenomenon may indirectly lead to the uncomfortable teaching and learning condition in class especially at SK Sena. Therefore, an alternative effort should be carried out in order to at least lowering down the temperature by preparing affordable and practical air cooler in the class. This simplest yet effective innovation introduces an intelligent air cooler namely as iSMART COOL. Using a motion sensor and timer, the operation of the air cooler will be totally depended on the student’s need (by waxing their hand at the nozzle) with appropriate time. This might significantly reduce the cooling sources and prolong the usage. All materials used can be easily found and the device can be fabricated easily by the student themself. We believe that the innovation can provide an alternative solution towards comfortability of the student in the class especially in this extreme dry and hot weather conditions.
