This project introduces an autonomous boat-like robot designed to harvest algae from rivers, addressing water pollution and promoting a healthier aquatic ecosystem. Excessive algae growth, often caused by nutrient runoff, blocks sunlight and depletes oxygen, harming marine life. Our robot navigates water bodies using sensors and a simple propulsion system, collecting algae efficiently and storing it onboard. This eco-friendly solution not only helps restore the natural balance of river ecosystems but also opens possibilities for recycling harvested algae into useful products. The project emphasizes sustainability, affordability, and the practical use of robotics in environmental conservation.
