Corrosion is one of the most important issues and challenges. Corrosion could cause severe damage to the metal, causing it to deteriorate and endanger the environment. A corrosion inhibitor that is both efficient and affordable needs to be developed. The characteristics of a good corrosion inhibitor should be high solubility, simplicity, low cost, and high inhibitory efficiency at a lower concentration, such as Vanillin Meldrum’s acid (VanishRust VanMA). This research is in alignment with the DASN goal, namely to continuously create a clean, healthy, productive, and safe environment for present and future generations.
