Nutrishells is a sustainable innovation that transforms common household waste-eggshells, banana peels, and coffee grounds – into biodegradable fertilizer pods. This project addresses two global issues; food waste accumulation and excessive dependence on chemical fertilizers. The materials are processed into nutrient-rich pods that naturally release calcium, potassium and nitrogen, into the soil, promoting healthier plant growth. A comparative study between Nutrishells-treated plants and control plants demonstrate improved growth performance and soil quality. Nutrishells highlights a cost-free, eco-conscious solution that converts waste into agricultural value, supporting the vision of sustainable farming and environmental preservation for future generations.
