The fast uptake of electric vehicles (EVs) requires the development of efficient and accessible charging stations. This study develops a predictive location model for photovoltaic electric vehicle charging stations (PEVCS) in Malaysia. Employing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods like AHP, Fuzzy AHP, and TOPSIS, it identifies ideal PEVCS locations. The model integrates six main criteria and twelve sub-criteria, ensuring thorough analysis. The results help policymakers in strategic planning, promoting EV adoption and economic growth, and provides the community with affordable, reliable, and reducing range anxiety. This contributes to Malaysia's transition to a sustainable, eco-friendly transportation system.
