The COVID-19 pandemic significantly disrupted traditional music education, including the teaching and learning of Gamelan, which traditionally relies heavily on face-to-face instruction and hands-on practice. Gamelan ensembles require physical interaction with a variety of large, often expensive instruments that are not easily accessible to most learners, especially outside of institutional settings. During the pandemic, the inability to conduct in-person sessions highlighted the lack of digital learning resources and exposed the limitations in access to instruments for individual practice. In response to these challenges, the mobile application is used to provide an extensive online Gamelan classroom that bridges the gap between traditional learning and modern digital solutions. The application features a comprehensive range of resources including theory notes, structured teaching videos, performance recordings, and virtual instrument demonstrations. These components are designed to simulate the in-person learning experience and offer users the flexibility to study and appreciate Gamelan music at their own pace.  As an educators and developers, we have taken the initiative to build and deliver this learning experience through the UFUTURE platform—a digital learning management system that supports flexible, student-centered learning in UiTM. By integrating the Gamelan learning modules into UFUTURE, we ensure that the content is structured, trackable, and accessible to a wide range of users, including students from various institutions. This integration allows for interactive learning, assessments, and continuous updates, providing a sustainable and scalable solution to Gamelan education in the digital age. Through this platform, users can explore the beauty of Gamelan music anytime, anywhere, using just a smartphone.
