This study introduces LISSA (Listen, Identify, Summarise, Strategies, Answer), an innovative framework designed to enhance listening comprehension in a structured and accessible way. LISSA guides learners through five practical steps: focusing on the audio input, identifying key ideas, summarising information clearly, using strategies such as predictions and context clues, and responding with confidence. This approach supports learners in building strong listening habits through active engagement and structured practice. As a forward-looking model, LISSA contributes to future innovations in listening research by offering a clear, adaptable method suitable for integration into various teaching environments, materials, and digital learning platforms.
