Bank is a licensed financial institution whose business is related to receiving deposits and making loans or financing. The Bank of Babylon was the world's first bank to be recorded and it was founded in 18th-century BC in ancient Mesopotamia. As of right now, there are 44,000 credit unions and banks worldwide. Approximately the number of banks is keeping increasing, offering various types of products and services. The development of the banking industry has opened the door to job vacancies and educational opportunities. Thus, the demand for experts in this area is crucial. However, there are difficulties in understanding the concepts and terms in banking studies. Thus, this innovation aims to assist learners as well as those who are interested in learning more about banking areas. The innovation is using crossword puzzles named as i-BanCross to simplify concepts and terms in the banking area. The distinctive feature of i-BanCross is that students are compelled to actively memorise and apply banking concepts and terms through crossword puzzles, as opposed to reading or hearing passively. Learners’ memorization and understanding can be strengthen by using this innovation. The innovation is able to be commercialised to students in banking studies, practitioners, and those who are interested in learning more about banking.
