THE BENEFITS OF MYKOKU STSR FOR TEACHERS USING APPSHEET MOGANADASS A/L PURNSHATMAN SJKT SUNGAI RENGGAM (BBD8468) PPD PETALING PERDANA, SELANGOR. While the benefits of innovative co-curricular activities for students are often discussed, less attention has been paid to how they can also enrich the professional learning and growth of teachers. This paper argues that benefits of MyKoKu STSR by using AppSheet creates valuable opportunities for teachers to develop new skills and mindsets critical for the 21st century. When teachers sponsor or mentor student-led innovation challenges, hackathons, maker spaces, entrepreneurship incubators, and similar initiatives, they are exposed to design thinking, project-based learning, and creative problem-solving approaches they can integrate into classroom teaching. Guiding student innovation projects also keeps teachers updated with emerging technologies and allows them to experiment with new instructional formats and tools. Additionally, MyKoKu STSR by using AppSheet promote greater teacher-student collaboration and mentoring relationships. They provide platforms for teachers to coach students in transferable skills like communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. Overall, this paper contends that MyKoKu STSR by using AppSheet supporting innovation in co-curricular activities allows teachers to expand their own competencies and professional practices. It creates an engine for continued teacher growth and learning, reinvigorating educators to better prepare students for a complex, rapidly changing world.
