Abstract: Clogged Drain Solution - An Eco-Friendly and Energy Efficient Clogged Drain Innovation

Drain blockages especially during heavy rainfall, can lead to flash floods, diseases such as dengue and also produces unpleasant odors that can cause headaches, dizziness, and nausea. Our innovation, the Clogged Drain Solution, is designed to remove clogs, build-up in drains and pipes, ensuring proper water flow, preventing foul odors and promote sustainable urban water management.

Clogged Drain Solution model has been designed by integrating building blocks which has a stick in a utility pole shape and Micro:Bit IR sensors which detects, collects and stores the trashes in a container. This design reduces manual cleaning efforts and saves water by preventing large water usage to force the clog out.
