He beauty care industry is growing rapidly with increasing demands for skin care products from consumers than ever before. However, consumers struggle to make informed decisions when choosing the right products for their skin due to a lack of transparency in ingredient-specific safety data and difficulty in comprehending complex ingredient lists. To address this, our group proposes a skincare product safety assessment app. The app uses ingredients scanning and product search processing to identify and analyze ingredients in skincare products, assessing their safety level using a database of safety ratings and algorithms. It also allows users to compare products and check for incompatible product combinations. The goal of our app is to promote transparency in skincare product safety, empowering consumers to protect their skin from harmful chemicals. The outcome of this project is to offer users reliable information to make informed skincare product choices, avoid harmful ingredients, and ensure skin well-being.
