The dominance of project-based learning (PBL) has increased significantly, contributing to serious discussions about its dawn. But by having little or no practice of PBL inside and outside the classroom, the students might not get to produce the product expected by the teacher. Thus, this study aims to use a guidance; My Project Journey Journal to ensure the effectiveness of the PBL approach, to guide students to produce a PBL product based on the given task. This study used a qualitative method, in which the researchers used open questions to investigate the effectiveness of using My Project Journey Journal in guiding the students to produce a PBL product based on the given task. The findings showed that using the My Project Journey Journal is an effective means of guiding the students among 24 Year 6 students. The findings have some implications in ensuring the effectiveness of the PBL approach.
