Fire accidents pose a serious threat to lives, property, and the environment. Traditional smoke detectors only alert people through local alarms, which are ineffective if no one is nearby to respond. Our project, the Smart Smoke Fire Alert System, reinvents fire safety by combining modern sensor technology with real-time remote alerts.

Using an ESP32 microcontroller, a smoke sensor (MQ-2 or MQ-7), and the Telegram API, our system instantly detects smoke and sends notifications directly to a user’s smartphone — allowing quick action even from a distance. It’s easy to install, affordable (RM250 per unit), and suitable for homes, schools, offices, and small businesses.

By addressing the limitations of traditional systems, our solution empowers users to protect lives and property more efficiently and proactively. This is fire safety for the future — smart, connected, and accessible.
