SMART AI TIMETABLE is an innovative school timetable system design for primary school students, utiilizing Husky Lens Facial Recognition and a Microbit Microcontroller. THis innovation aims to help students manage their school schedule more effectively and pack their school bag accurately according to the next day's timetable. One of the main problem faced by young students is carrying overweight school bags, often due to not checking the timetable properly or bringing unnecessary books. This can lead to long-term health issues such as scoliosis, a spinal deformity caused by prolonged strain from carrying heavy loads.
This smart system adresses the issue creatively and effectively. When the Husky Lens detects a student's face, the system identifies the user and the Microbit retrieves the current data and time via internet using wifi. Based on the current day, the system automatically displays the school timetable for the following day, allowing students to prepare their bags the night before with only required books. This helps reduce backpack weight, improves posture, and instills time management and personal responsibility in students from an early age.
Beyond solving physical and organizational challenges, SMART AI TIMETABLE also functions as an interactive educational tool that introduces students to STEM elements, particularly basic programming and smart technology. Its compact and space-saving design makes it ideal for small homes, especially in urban environments.
