SecureNetWatch is a mobile application designed to identify and block known scam numbers, providing a safer communication experience for users. In an era where phone scams are increasingly prevalent, SecureNetWatch stands out by offering a user-friendly interface coupled with a robust database of scam numbers that is regularly updated. The app offers an intuitive design with key features such as: Reporting Suspicious Numbers: Users can easily report scam numbers, contributing to a community-driven database. Checking Number Legitimacy: Users can verify if a phone number is associated with known scams. Community Sharing: A platform for users to share their experiences and tips on avoiding scams. Educational Resources: Provides users with information about different types of scams and prevention strategies. SecureNetWatch uses Flutter for seamless cross-platform development. Our three-member team each contributed unique skills. One member focused on the front-end design and user interface, ensuring the app is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Another member handled the backend development, managing the database and server-side logic. The final member coordinated the project, ensuring all components were integrated smoothly and the app met its objectives. A key feature of SecureNetWatch is its focus on community engagement and regular updates. Unlike other similar apps, SecureNetWatch is designed to be a living tool that evolves with the threat landscape. Our community-driven approach keeps the scam number database current and empowers users with educational resources to stay vigilant against new scams. By leveraging a collaborative approach and continuous updates, SecureNetWatch ensures that users have access to the most current information and protection strategies.
