The Smart Tap Lamp is an innovative lighting device designed to enhance convenience, safety, and energy efficiency in everyday environments. This project aims to address the challenges faced by users  particularly children, the elderly, and individuals with physical limitations in operating traditional light switches, especially in low-light conditions.

The lamp operates using a capacitive touch sensor, allowing it to be turned on or off with a simple tap. This user-friendly feature eliminates the need to search for switches in the dark, providing immediate and intuitive lighting control. The system is powered by either a rechargeable battery or an optional solar panel, supporting the goal of sustainability.Built using basic electronic components such as a microcontroller (or relay-based circuit), LED lighting, and a touch sensor module, the Smart Tap Lamp demonstrates practical application of electrical and physical science principles.
