The average person shops at the grocery store twice a week. A 2023 Statista report states that the average US household's primary grocery shopper makes 1.6 trips per week. A 2022 Gallup poll found that 82% of US adults shop for groceries in person at least once a week. However, people are too busy to do this weekly basis due to commitment of working. In respond,an innovation create a smart shopping robot which is a is integrated with solar energy, and Internet of Thing (iot), and Artificial intelligent which is called Smart iThrift.This innovation aligned  through 3 sustainable development goals, which are SDG 7 that focuses on clean and affordable energy by the use of solar energy as the main source of electricity, SDG 12 which focuses on sustainable consumption and production by the saving usage of electricity in our daily life, and SDG 6 that focuses on strengthening global responses and taking action to ensure better environment in the society. solar energy is used as the main source of electricity. Why? The major advantages of solar energy are it creates no carbon emission and other heat-trapping greenhouse gases. The main purposes of the invention are to implement smart city in society, improve grocery management in society and provide better environment through grocery management.
