Mosquito-borne diseases remain a major concern in many tropical regions, especially in countries like Malaysia where warm and humid conditions allow mosquitoes to thrive year-round. It may cause skin irritation or raise long-term health concerns for some users. As a result, there is growing interest in safer, plant-based alternatives. So,we create the project. It named Wormwood Mint Mosquito Repellent Cream D.I.Y.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported and guided us throughout this project. Thanks to our teachers, mentors, and peers for their valuable advice, encouragement, and constructive feedback.At last, we appreciate the inspiration provided by nature itself—reminding us that effective and sustainable solutions often come from the simple, natural resources around us.
First apply a thin layer to exposed skin before going outdoors. Then Reapply every 2–3 hours, especially in humid conditions. Ingredients have 2 tbsp dried Wormwood (or fresh, chopped) , 2 tbsp dried Mint (peppermint or spearmint works great) ,1/2 cup carrier oil (coconut, olive, or almond oil) and 2 tbsp Beeswax (for cream consistency).
Wormwood Mint Mosquito Repellent Cream D.I.Y. have many benefits. It can natural mosquito repellent. Besides, It also can cooling and soothing on skin. Moveover, it eco-friendly and low-toxicity. Furthermore, It is easy and cheap DIY and also has multi-purpose herbal benefits.
In my conclusion, a Wormwood–Mint DIY mosquito repellent cream is an effective natural alternative to chemical repellents. It works by using the strong herbal scent of wormwood and the cooling.It has refreshing properties of mint to repel mosquitoes and soothe the skin. The cream is eco-friendly, affordable, and easy to make, making it suitable for everyday use, especially in warm climates.
However, it is less long-lasting than commercial repellents and needs frequent reapplication. It should be properly diluted to avoid skin irritation or toxicity.Overall, this DIY cream is a safe and practical option for those who prefer natural insect protection, as long as it is used correctly.
