This innovation project introduces the Smart Cart Assistant, a special shopping cart designed to enhance mobility, independence, and convenience for individuals with physical disabilities, the elderly, and general users in large retail environments. It combines smart technology and practical features to make shopping easier and more comfortable. Some of its features include a mini iPad with GPS and AI voice recognition, a seat for comfortability, and a design that allows it to connect to a wheelchair. It also includes extra storage and protection for items during bad weather. This innovation makes shopping safer and more accessible for people who need extra support. Key issues addressed include the difficulty of using standard trolleys, challenges in navigating large supermarkets, and the limited availability of inclusive tools. To overcome these barriers, the SmartCart Assistant is designed with a wheelchair-attachable frame, motorized movement, similar to hoverboards, a hydraulic braking system, a protective shutter door for storage, built-in USB ports, a GPS-equipped tablet for navigation, and multiple compartments to accommodate more items. Constructed using accessible technologies already available in today’s market, this innovation offers numerous advantages which increased mobility, improved safety, ease of use, and customizable features for different user needs
