This project introduces an innovative adaptation of the traditional Snakes and Ladders game to support the learning of basic algebra concepts, including simple linear equations, algebraic expressions, substitution, and integer operations.

The game integrates mathematical challenges into each step, where students must answer questions correctly to progress, climb ladders, or avoid snakes. This interactive approach encourages active participation, critical thinking, and continuous practice in a fun and motivating environment.

Additionally, the game promotes collaborative learning as students work together, discuss solutions, and learn from their mistakes. It also helps to reduce anxiety towards mathematics by transforming learning into an enjoyable activity.

The teaching aid is affordable, easy to produce, and adaptable for different difficulty levels. Overall, this innovation has strong potential to improve students’ understanding, engagement, and performance in algebra.
