Innovation efforts drive proactive change and give organizations a competitive advantage through new opportunities, improved processes, and novel ideas. However, managing innovation records is challenging due to security issues, inconsistent formats, lack of appropriate tools, and reliance on manual systems, resulting in inaccurate and outdated data. These issues hinder collaboration and data sharing. This abstract proposes adopting an Innovations Reporting System (IReS) to streamline documentation, improve data integrity, and support informed decision-making. IReS can produce comprehensive analyses and reports, which benefits stakeholders such as management teams, innovation departments, project managers, and employees involved in idea generation and implementation.
